My youngest brother still lives at home with my parents, but is 17, lives on YouTube, visits 4chan, and is a brony. Our conversations make sense to each other, and to my girlfriend, and for the most part to my other brother, but uhm... not so much when we're conversing in front of my parents.

The other day, I was griping about something or other, the brother chimes in with a sarcastic "THANKS, OBAMA!" and my dad looked at him like "WTF?!"

And then the other day he asked about whether he should check out Homestuck, and I think my immediate response made my mom think that the CONTENT was objectionable, so I had to explain that Homestuck itself is not necessarily an offensive horrible thing, but if you get into Homestuck, you probably don't ever want to admit to it anywhere public on the internet at this point...

That would be why I told him to stay away from Homestuck. He already gets enough crap for being a brony, and even if he didn't turn into one of "those fans" (which he probably would, knowing his social problems), he doesn't need to give people more reason for insta-hate. ;)
