Same here, but I haven't run into anything that made me feel the need to hide being 39. Being older than a lot of other fans is just funny to me sometimes, like in Hannibal fandom when I'll be looking at someone's Tumblr with Mads Mikkelsen all over it and there'll be this post or tag about how crazy it is that he's 25+ years older than them. Dude wasn't quite 9 when I was born, lol. I always liked them older myself.
