There's a fandom for Odin Sphere? I can't anyone to talk to that game about! The most I do is look on 4chan for Mercedes pics and at least I can succeed there.

There is, actually. A lot of American and Japanese fan artists love this game, if only they would give Grim Grimoire a chance they'd love it too! It's just as awesome, if I dare say so.

I've drawn fanart of OS and it's in my DA account! (Horrible shameless plug, I know.) I also have fanfiction and more coming if ya wanna read. ;D

What is GrimGrimoise like? I saw it and I did want to buy it, but I decided to wait for Christmas. The art for it looks beautiful though. (And does it have that irritating 'slow movement' that OS had when many enemies were around? That was my only gripe with the game.)

Oh man, I've always been afraid of playing RTS games... but Grim Grimoire is very sweet and fun. The characters are so funny in their own way, you kind of fall in love with the story and just want to KEEP PLAYING NO MATTER HOW HARD THE BATTLES ARE. Have you seen all of the fanart on dA? A lot of talented artists contribute to Odin Sphere's fandom, it's quite a blessing. :D

It's basically like... point and click, create your own little troops and send them to gather mana crystals / ward off enemies / fight with runes and place runes everywhere kind of deal. It can be tricky at first, but I beat it! If I can beat it, I'm sure you can. (I'm still not done with Odin Sphere!)

What's RTS? AND THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN! It sounds like Persona 3 though. That game has moi now. (Also, I hope I'm one of the talented artists or fanficcers for it at least. xD; That would be my secret though)

That sounds cute! I'm not done with Odin Sphere either. I'm replaying it to show my boyfriend how awesome it is, but on my first save, I have to level up Gwen like hell just to defeat the last enemy. On my second save, I'm overleveled for most of the fights so I'm happy, but on the first one, I just skimmed by!

Ahhh, it feels good to talk about the game. :) I hope you're having as much fun as I am! xD

Haha, that was my thought. There's a community for it here on LJ ([livejournal.com profile] pookapower) but it's barely active, and FF.net only has about 20 stories archived. I've only found small number of Japanese fanart sites for it. I think Gran Grimoire ought to set its sights a little higher XD;;.

I've been thinking of checking GG out myself.

Yeah! That's the only place I know of for the fandom. Maybe I should join it (fanart, fanfics, and even an altered cosplay of Mercedes), but it just makes me wish Odin Sphere was really popular. Maybe Xenosaga popular. That's not too bad.

Cute icon. xD
