I feel you. And in the reverse, I was once totally sold on a Leverage kidfic because Parker named her kids after precious stones or types of currency. That seemed like such a believable in-character touch for me, genius. XD

Nooooo. Writer 101. Never name your character's kid, be they OC or fandom preferred character's children, after gemstones/money. It's a recipe for disaster.

Writer 102: Don't throw out generic advice as if it is gospel. There is nothing in the world more appropriate for Parker. Except possibly naming a kid Glenn-Reider.

Parker is a thief and she loves money and jewels. She hangs some of her best jewelry 'gets' on the Christmas tree as ornaments. Naming her kids after either would totally fit.

That is so very Parker - but I can't get over the mind boggle that is Parker being a parent. Just...can't really see that.

Really? I kind of can. I vaguely remember (I haven't kept up with the show) an episode with her rescuing some kids from somewhere, and she just seemed so concerned, mostly BECAUSE of what she'd been through.

idk, I could see her thinking kids are nifty. they accept what they're raised with (and WHO they're raised with) as normal, no judgement...and also, Parker loves excitement. few things as exciting as wrangling small children XD
