I'm not exactly face blind, but I have a problem telling people apart in a lot of historical fiction/fantasy when there are too many white guys with similar clothes and hair. I had issues with Boardwalk Empire at first too, except for Steve Buschemi (glad I got over it, though; it's a really good show). I didn't have that problem with The Wire, except maybe in the beginning of the fourth season where there are a lot of children who get introduced at once, and you should give it a shot because it's one of the best shows ever. It's got a cast of approximately two billion but they all look quite different.
