I work as a dog trainer on rehabilitating abused pitbulls, and I work to get pitbulls puppies rehomed to loving families that will get them trained to be ambassadors for the breed. Your secret sounds way too much like the "every pitbull is mean/aggressive/vicious/dangerous and should be eliminated" logic that I hear way too often. Also the S!B got to me because what you referred to as "yards yadda" is, in fact, true. Every dog has the potential to be a fabulous, well-adjusted house pet if raised properly. I understand that you have a strong phobia, which I get (I've got one for spiders, I feel you), but you sound like a lot of ignorant people that make it difficult to adopt out some wonderful dogs.
