A pretty painting I saw once. It was really expensive and I could never buy it. The painter had a fascinating story. I never did see that painting again.

What about you?

Edit: The painting was of a beautiful jester. She looked discontent and maybe a bit bored but was choosing between two different emotive masks. The colors and lines were absolutely exquisite.

The painter's story was that he was not allowed to paint in his home country because they found his art subversive. When moving to a new country he had his fingers broken by his government to he couldn't paint again. He relearned to paint and made many beautiful works.

No but really, haha, I wish I remember where I got mine from. I think it was something to do with NaNoWriMo but I'm really not sure. Anyway it's not specifically associated with a fandom (well, not intentionally - 'soul jellies' exist in a game called Spiral Knights that I hadn't heard of until recently) and it's suitably odd-sounding and kind of fun and silly. I like it.

Alas, she was not Harley Quinn.

'Twas a maiden fully clothed head to toe such as the original design for Harley Quinn though.

That painting sounds cool and also wow you all have such interesting stories behind your usernames, and mine is just exactly what it says on the tin... I have to go away and make up a story behind my username!
