I was fifteen/sixteenish and working on both a fanfic and a school assignment where I had to write what basically amounted to a To Kill a Mockingbird fanfic. I did both of these things at night, and being the dork that I was, decided "Author By Night" sounded, like, so edgy.

As I hit my late twenties, it's painfully dorky and not at all edgy anymore, but it's also stuck as my fandom name. Fandom: Where I embrace my inner teenager. Yeah huh!

Hahaha, n'aw, that's sweet. IDK if this makes it better or worse, but my first thought was that it's a bit like a superhero name. A very literary superhero. xD

(Sometimes it's nice to stay in touch with your inner teen a little!)
