That's fine, just don't bitch when people around you are mostly writing slash. So fed up of "oppressed" het shippers.

Why are you fed up? Because we happen to have a very valid point and that irks you? Slash is above and beyond the most prevalent flavor of ship, and a lot of those who ship slash look down on those who prefer het.

Bullshit. That's incredibly different from fandom to fandom - at least from those I've seen, there are just as many het-ship dominated fandoms as there are slash dominated. Stop pretending that everyone is out to get you and that your a special snowflake for liking het -it's neither rare, nor oppressed, nor lookd down upon - at least not more than slash is by some het fans.

Fucking this. While there are certainly slash dominated fandoms (and even a few femmeslash dominated ones, though that's much rarer), I can think of plenty of fandoms of all sizes where het is easier to find than slash: A:tLA, Harry Potter, both the big comic book universes, Doctor Who...

Harry Potter? Seriously? Two of the most popular pairings are slash, and that's just out of the topmost popular pairings. Remus being gay is practically canon to a large portion of fandom, Drarry, Twincest... I guess you're comparing that to Harry/Hermione and Snape/Hermione?
