I switched to a new username name about a year ago, after having had my last one (or a variation on it) for seven or eight years.

This new one has a double-meaning, which makes me happy.

First, it's a word used in one of my favorite poems, Sonnet XVII by Pablo Neruda. I have a longer excerpt from it on my profile (although not the whole thing), but here's the stanza it came from:

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way


Second... without going too much into it, I'm very introverted, and I want to be a more straightforward person, and not hide what I'm thinking or feeling so much when I'm around other people.

Plus, I just like how the word looks and sounds, which is always a plus.
