Secret 8 - Hate Plus (visual novel)
She's probably the first character — in anything — I've encountered who I don't feel a little bit sorry for. Usually I can see why things went bad for a character and think 'it's too bad they made that choice, they could have been redeemed.' But Eun-a got everything she wanted, and everything she deserved.
This isn't a criticism of the writing. I can't even honestly say that I hate this character. In fact I'm kind of fascinated by her.
I'm sure obvious Original Poster is obvious, I don't think anyone else on fandom secrets has played these games. Oh well!

I'm just gonna say this: you can bring your saves from Analogue over to the second game, so make sure you have the harem ending. I recommend playing them in this order: *Mute, *Hyun-ae, Harem. Although the game is broken up between days and you have to wait 12 hours between playing the days, but you could do Day One of each save, and then the next day do Day Two, etc.
Late reply is late
I actually felt like there was a bit of a problem with Christine Love's writing with regards to Eun-a. I agree with you wholeheartedly that she deserved everything she got, but I was left pretty unsatisfied with how her back story was communicated, and where here motivations really came from. I get it, she wanted to live a particular type of lifestyle, but her position really put her in a situation where she could have easily done so without forcing her values on an entire society. I just never understood how she got from point A to point B, and I don't think Christine Love did a particularly good job of elucidating any of that.
I did like that game, though. The character profiles made it so much easier to keep track of everyone, and it was so interesting to see how the new dynasty was created on the ship.
