But they're talking OCs that exist in canon worlds, too.

Yes. But on F!S (when discussing secrets), it is an open discussion between people who like/love/hate OCs.

There have been plenty of threads in General Chat with people discussing their favorite OCs they have written/read.

But in terms of a posted secret, anyone can talk about their opinion on OCs, and the fact of the matter is people who like OCs seem to be a minority.

You can try to make a safe space.

People will still seek it out and complain about the fact OCs exist.
