I don't read cis-het because it's never like what fucking is actually like for me. And rarely is it like what I *want* fucking to be like for me (I've yet to find the cache of really amazing 'here, take all my feels' subby het fic that I'm sure is hiding somewhere on the internet). On top of that, I already know what PIV sex feels like from a cis-female perspective. Therefore, it holds none of the 'sexytiems fantasy' allure that slash does for me.

I will never be a dude getting fucked by another dude. I'm a cis-female. Just what's in the cards for me. So my imagination can go into absolute overload when I read slash fic and imagine that what they're having is the most amazing-feeling mind-blowing sex ever. With cis-het, my brain has something like a mental cap on how pleasurable it can imagine that sex act to be because my frame of reference is my own sex life. Does that make sense? *mrr* I think I just confused myself...

Makes total sense to me. I've had het sex and it really wasn't all that impressive. Het sex kinda bores me. I get distracted very easily and it goes on too long and it's never as mindblowing as it seems in porn. But I'm not a guy. And I'm especially not a gay guy who has had sex with another gay guy. So it's easier for me to imagine that gay sex would be EPIC and just sort of roll with the sexual fantasy. It's harder for me to buy with het smut because I'm aware of how limited I can find that sort of pleasure.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

I am not lacking for het action, and it's pretty awesome, and even if I did feel the need to seek out more het-related fantasies, there is quite a lot of really excellent het erotica and het sex scenes in all sorts of literature. If I'm reading smutty fic, it's largely because I'm after a fantasy that I can't attain either in real life or published fiction.

Anyway, people get off on what they get off on. Life's too short to judge.

This makes total sense.

You could always simulate the feeling of dick in ass with a butt plug, it can feel fucking amazing (especially one that vibrates)
