Secret 2 - Gaia Online

[Picture is a screen-capture of "Club Verge", a Gaia Online item shop. Gaia Online is a forum and doll dress up game on the internet. Many of the items look expensive.]

I don't want to leave Gaia, because I have a lot of nostalgia and a lot of effort invested in it, but I absolutely HATE what it's become.

The "Gaia Cash" (real money) items have gotten insane. For point of reference: 100 Gaia Cash points = $1 USD. Some of these items are $50 and $100 and $500.

I hate myself for coming back here. I don't spend any real money on the site, but I hate giving it any traffic after it's gotten this way.

Bonus secret: I hate the apologists for this kind of price exorbitancy, which Gaia has a TON of. It pisses me off. The more it's supported, the worse it's gonna get.
