Punishing someone for plagiarizing published works (not even fellow fanworks) in a stupid little fanfic free-to-read on the internet ten years ago, a crime which, by itself, hurt exactly no-one, by unethically boycotting the sale of one of the few feminist, LGTB and POC friendly supernatural YA bookseries aimed at girls out there. Way to fucking go.

To sum up your argument:

(1) plagiarism crime hurt no one (debatable, the people involved at the time may feel differently, but you don't know them so that's okay)
(2) 10 years ago (fandom statue of limitations has expired?), and
(3) we must support her because of reasons.

I disagree, because of reasons. But, since I'm not in a position to unethically boycott CC, I'll continue my ethical boycott and encourage others to follow. Have a nice day!
