You know what *I* find hilarious? Most of the people supporting the OP (in such similarly worded and typed habitual manner as the OP, ffs) need to passive-aggressively imply that fandom should be able to see past their stupid, insipid love for canon characters and embrace OCs accordingly. Thanks for that condescending and slightly derisive stereotyping of fans, OP.

You speak for yourself, I speak for myself, and somebody else speaking up to say they do or don't like OCs doesn't mean I have to shut up and stay quiet because they already said something I agree with. Fandom is opinionated, and one person (like the OP) does not get to tell people to shut up and not voice their opinion, whatever it is, just because you think being the minority = OC-lovers are oppressed. NOBODY IS OPPRESSING YOU, OP. YOU VOICED AN OPINION. SOME PEOPLE WILL VOICE A DIFFERENT OPINION. THIS MEANS THEY ARE DISAGREEING WITH YOU. DO WHAT YOU WANT WHERE YOU WANT, BUT BE AWARE OTHERS WILL, TOO. DEAL WITH IT, DON'T EXPECT PEOPLE TO CHANGE TO SUIT YOUR NEEDS.
