There would be nothing wrong with it if fans just kept it to crossover sections, but it is so fucking pervasive. You can't move in the gen sections of the fandoms without it popping up.

Really? I am in the Sherlock fandom and I NEVER see Doctor Who or SPN crossovers. It really isn't that pervasive at all.

I actually don't see it that often either. Mostly just gif sets, which I like. That's about it.

Maybe it's not so much fandom specific as location specific. Seems to be everywhere on Tumblr. I am not in any of those fandoms but I still see posts all the time.

Tumblr is so bad about it. I downloaded Tumblr savior JUST to get away from supernatural shit. I absolutely hate supernatural, but i like the other two. I would have zero problems with the overwhelming amount of WhoLock if it didn't involve fricking supernatural.
