You know, just because they have a woman and a man as a lead doesn't automatically make it a better or more interesting show. That's not how writing works. And it's sad that people think like this.

Yet premises with two male leads can do no wrong. No one ever questions characterizations of male characters the way they do female ones. I agree with AYRT; with SH and Elementary showing positive, strong, and (as yet) non-sexual male/female dynamics is fucking refreshing and I'm eating it up.

What the fuck fandoms are you in? SPN and Sherlock BOTH have a shit ton of criticism towards plot/characterization/etc.

No, but this female male lead show just happens to be more interesting at the moment. I'm loving this far more than the "Oh my god, I hope the woman Cas sleeps with is hated on and reviled because she has a vagina and it isn't Dean's penis!"
