Hm. I do wonder and worry about my online buddies, when I don't see them for a while, but I won't ask around unless they're gone for much longer than a month. When they disappear for a couple of weeks or so, I usually assume they have a good reason and will explain when they come back, if they feel like it -- which they usually do.

So yeah, if I found out they dropped dead, made me worry, just to find out if anyone cared I would probably feel hurt. And mad at them.

If you feel like you don't communicate with them as much, as you used to perhaps you should address this? Suggest a couple of fun activities to do together? Seek out a new fandom together?
