The majority of Danny fic I've seen doesn't bash him at all. But it doesn't bother me when he's a bit of an asshole in it because Danny is a bit of an asshole in canon anyways, mostly to Stiles. It's like people forget that he is Jackson's best friend and about half the time he's onscreen he's being a dick to whoever is talking to him unless it was Jackson.

I stg a goodly percentage of this fandom don't even watch the damn show. Or else they watch it through a special 'everyone who doesn't worship at the alter of Stiles is a poopy-head' filter.

I mean, he always seemed like a typical jock jerk. I mean he isn't as bad as Jackson but he did seem like your typical cliquish high schooler.

But...that's every teenager on the show. And Danny in particular is popular because everyone likes him, according to Stiles, not because he plays lacrosse real good.

He's only dishing out what Stiles deserves. Stiles is the one being a jerk asking inappropriate questions and going through Danny's stuff.

If someone kept asking me if I was attracted to them when we never interacted just because they knew I was gay, I wouldn't have the temperament Danny has. I'd being yelling at them to go fuck themselves real quick.
