Huh. I read a lot of TW fic lately (and I mean a lot) and I can only think of one fic that had Danny as a jerk ex. And he wasn't even that jerky. And still had the whole 'everyone likes him he's a decent guy' thing going. I've read quite a few cute Danny/Stiles fics too, though admittedly half of those are more Danny/Stiles date for awhile and then amicably break up and remain friends with Derek/Stiles endgame, so...

This show and the fandom has a lot of race issues but from my experience in the fandom I wouldn't say this is one of them.
