Anything that makes your commute less tedious! Though tbh I'm not sure I would want to live in Night Vale...it's way too dangerous for me. (Annnd I'd be dead within a week.)

I'd probably be dead even more quickly than that. I'd survive in Night Vale about as long as I would in Silent Hill.

That said, it must be awesome to hang out with Cecil and/or Carlos.

Oh god, not Silent Hill, NEVER Silent Hill. Even in the unlikely event that I didn't get horribly murdered I'd probably end up hysterical or suicidal.

Agreed! Or Hiram McDaniels. Though he IS in prison, so that might be difficult. I'd even settle for Steve Carlsberg tbh; I'm so curious as to what he's actually like and why Cecil hates him so much.

It would be tough for me to get along with writing utensils though. Or wheat and wheat by-products.

That is a good point...

But on special occasions writing utensils are allowed, so that's better than nothing! And there's a sort of black market for wheat and wheat byproducts now, isn't there? So you could still have bread... It would just be illegal. Isn't a little wheat potentially worth going to jail for?

It would definitely be worth going to a regular jail for, but considering how they seem to punish offenders in Night Vale I think I'd rather go gluten-free than piss off the Secret Police.

But before you die you get ALL THE FREE HBO YOU WANT! It isn't so bad, is it?

Well, when you put it that way...

I bet Steve Carlsberg isn't that bad. He's probably like that architect from Eagleton that Leslie Knope distrusted in Parks and Rec...

I haven't watched Parks and Rec, but I think I get you. I mostly assume that Cecil has an irrational hatred for Steve and the rest of the town generally likes him.

They COULD have some sort of history, but I doubt we'll ever learn that much about Cecil's back-story (though I know his childhood is going to be addressed soon, so maybe I'm wrong).

Then again, Steve questions things and doesn't seem totally brainwashed or desensitized to how fucking bizarre and wrong Night Vale and it's practices can be, so maybe Cecil sees him as a threat or just an outsider who doesn't fit into their way of life. Sooooooo many options.
