NES and Sega Genesis (and PS1) are associated with home and my immediate family (Dad, brothers) because that's what we had. Sega Master System and N64 are the systems my grandparents had for us to play when we'd stay with them during the day in the summer. So, I remember long days of KICKING ASS on Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. Man, me and my brother rocked at those games. My daycare had SNES and that was the system I always wanted because I fucking loved Super Mario World but girls weren't allowed to to play video games because those were for boys.
So, yeah, when I think of certain games I think of certain people and places too.
