Re: The secret you'd never make because you know it'd be called a troll

I feel sorry for Miley Cyrus.

When I look at her, I just see a young woman who is trying too hard to prove that she is happy when deep down, I don't think she is.

It's not the same situation, but I have similar feelings about Taylor Swift. I just feel so bad for her; it makes me unhappy every time I see people attacking her or making jokes about her. I don't think she's very happy either.

I liked her a lot when she was younger and now I just don't know what to think, but yeah that is part of it. I think being a child star can be really damaging for a young girl, children aren't prepared or ready for the life of a celebrity especially when it involves stalking and gossip spreading and all the fucked up stuff they do in the US with celebs.

I feel sorry for her in general, but I'm getting vibes that she's kind of faking all her recent weepy moments. It's pretty obvious her relationship was over ages ago... and shocker, they announced the split right when she's releasing new singles. It seems like such a PR stunt, and now she's crying on stage and so on. I feel bad for thinking it but I don't buy it.

I feel the same, but I also never say anything. Not a topic worth verbalizing I guess.

Oh, she's definitely coming off as just another sad child star cliché.

I get they want to grow up and be taken seriously as grown-ups, but displaying extreme behavior (sexual, drug-fueled, chaotic) doesn't really help. In fact, it just shows they're immature more than anything.

I think in trying to shed their child star image, they don't realize they can't ever really shed it. It's a part of them and always will be. But that doesn't mean they can't grow from it.
