Now, if she's saying ALL transmen should be referred to by female pronouns, then we gotta problem...

My opinion only derives from the secret, I have no idea who she/he is. But I understood it meant that person prefers that the media refers to them as female, but not to the whole transmen population.

If anyone has a news source for this, you are welcome to share it.

Personally, I don't care how people refer to me, I know who I am.

I'm a little confused about Ivan. At first I thought she was ftm, but then it seemed like she was really not comfortable with being either male or female and said people should use whatever pronouns they felt like? I thought that the telling various media things to use female pronouns was just a decision to make things easier or something. Can anyone explain this to me, I've only read the stuff she wrote and don't know anything outside of that.

I don't agree with you disrespecting her wishes by using male pronouns. It's her call to make about what pronouns people use for her, not yours.

I don't know anything about this person, but some people don't feel like they identify entirely with one gender or the other and may only pick one to go by simply out of convenience. Maybe she prefers to mostly look and act like a man but feels more comfortable with feminine pronouns? It could happen. Demanding everyone be either fully cis or fully trans is like demanding everyone be completely straight or completely gay, with no room for bisexuality, indecision, confusion, fluidity, complexity etc.

From what I gather Ivan Coyote doesn't even actually identify as a trans man. So how's their pronoun preference going to affect us? Like, I'd get it if some famous trans woman/man went out and said "Yeah I am a woman/man, but if that's too hard for you to respect, it's totally fine if you misgender me! Not respecting someone's gender is not a big deal!" Yeah, that'd bother me. But for someone who isn't a man in the first place? Why should they demand male pronouns? Okay, you could make the case that to the trans-aware unwashed masses Ivan Coyote looks like a trans guy, but the solution to that is not to demand that they conform to that mistaken assumption, but, like, correct people who get their actual gender wrong.
Ooooooor is OP one of those people who hate nonbinary people because they make the rest of us look bad?
