Well, it is MRA drivel partly because the conclusion that public education is anti-male just isn't strongly supported, and there's a fair bit of gender essentialism behind the different learning styles argument. But that's largely from reading the primary research regarding gender differences in the American school system. Read it with a few grains of salt.

The 'learning styles' thing annoys the shit out of me because as I've heard them described, my learning style is the 'boy' kind.
