I probably can't write anything, but I would be interested in hearing more about your fic ideas for The Flying Inn just out of curiosity.

...I've always wanted a steampunk AU of The Flying Inn where the inn actually flies. For a while I thought I could write it myself, but I keep getting distracted by other projects.

It is a headcanon of mine induced by an inaccurate retelling of the original story. Back when I was only planning to read it, somebody told me it was a book about an inn that flies but failed to specify that the flying part wasn't literal; when it came to reading the book, I was a bit disappointed.
