Re: Unpaid internships

If it's a two month long internship that's connected to the intern's school, I think unpaid is technically okay, but not desirable. But after that I don't think even a minimal salary is unreasonable. I was an intern at my current job, I didn't make much, but I made. Then I got a full time position and started making a normal salary. The problem is that the latter doesn't always happen anymore... I have a friend who did end up working for the company she'd intern'd for, but only a year later when they decided they wanted her back.
