Hahahah I swear there's got to be a German word for that feeling when you find out that someone you despise likes something you like.

The mature thing to do would to be do shrug and realize that people have complex interests and tastes, and what makes you dislike that person might have nothing to do with why they like the thing you like. Or figure that even a broken clock is right twice a day. Or maybe that the thing you like is so good that even stupid, horrible people like it too.

...Of course what actually ends up happening is I start questioning my own tastes and asking myself if I really like that thing or it was as I good as I thought after all ;p
