I think it's considered prudish by some or something. Which I think is stupid. I don't care that you have sex, I just don't need to know the details.

And I say this as someone who has talked with people about their sex life on occasion.

I'm the opposite, I'm always curious about everyone else's sex lives, so if they want to dish I encourage them. I have no idea why I care. I just find it interesting.

See, I like hearing about people's fantasies and kinks. I eat that up. And maybe it would be fine in small doses, or certain settings but some people seem to bring it into every conversation. It's just been getting to me lately, I think.

I have complicated feelings on hearing about other peoples' sex lives, but I guess what it boils down to is that I don't like hearing about other people's sex lives because it makes me feel shittier about my almost-total lack of sexual and romantic experience, but at the same time I feel like that's irrational, unjustifiable, and kind of a shitty way to behave towards my friends, and I try to be okay with it and be as open as I can.
