People who say frick instead of fuck piss me off. I just can't take that word seriously and it makes me think of 10 year olds who are still afraid to swear because of their parents.

I say it because of Eliot from Scrubs. I still say fuck though.

But I don't think there's anything wrong with not swearing. Sometimes it's really not appropriate.

Um. I don't know who you're hearing use replacement swear words, but generally the people who use them do so because they swear like sailors most of the time but they're in public at the moment. Like, I have a coworker who uses "brownie" and "oh shoot" as swear words at work. That's...not what she says in private.
