It's easily shortened to Cleo and names were way down the list of the reasons kids were shitty to each other at my school so yeah, in my experience the name may not have caused you too much trouble. Depending on where you're from.

My mum once worked with a woman who called her daughters Cassandra and Persephone. They were known as Cassie and Purdy. I'm not sure if I'd have the guts to call one of my daughters Persephone even though I do feel I'd be extremely tempted to use a mythological name!
