Be it cause you were psyched or scared or just "oh shit" you had an actual reaction. So share it!

I had one of those moments at least once an episode for the final half season of Breaking Bad.

In Band of Brothers when they discover the concentration camp I got fear goosebumps.

Children of Men during the "crying baby while walking through soldiers scene" gets me every damn time.

Supernatural when Castiel shows up for the first time.

And music that gives me chills, When David Heard Absolom Was Slain, all of Schindler's list OST, but particularly the Theme by Itzhak Perlman.

Second on the BOB episode. And considering that the first time the actors saw the concentration camp set was when they arrive, ready to shoot, those reactions on screen were real. They were in complete shock.

Seconding the BoB ep, but not the Children of Men scene - the cheezy choral music just turned it from inspiring to heavy-handed overkill.

When I first discovered YouTube, I used it to look up the opening sequences for shows from my childhood. I got merry goosebumps over quite a few things, but I broke down in unbridled, joyful ugly-crying when I found the opening to Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics, and I don't even know why.

The end of the phantom train scene in Final Fantasy VI. I got literal tears in my eyes even though I was playing it on my DS in the food court in the mall.

Also, since you said "fandom" someone wrote a fic about my OTP and one of them (an older guy in canon) was starting to deteriorate from some progressive disease and they were a great author and I could barely finish reading it.

The stage version of The Lion King. Less than halfway through "The Circle of Life" I was already crying so hard it was difficult to breathe. Same with "Defying Gravity" from Wicked.

From the movie Paprika-- pretty much that whole ending scene of self realization for Atsuko and Paprika. And cop-guy's memory of his friend.

And strangely Godzilla? There are like two moments that constantly give me goosebumps-- the first is when the children's choir starts singing in prayer after Godzilla stomps all over Tokyo, and the second is the sequence with Serizawa activating his oxygen destroying bomb. Mostly because of the music that got paired with the imagery, I think.

And finally, in Silent Hill 2, Mary reading her full letter always always always gives me goosebumps. Holy shit, affecting.

Janelle Monae's "Many Moons," starting when she opens by riffing on the Pointer Sisters and Seasame Street, and proceeds to deliver something that's brilliant pop and brilliant futurism. "Tightrope" and "QUEEN" hits it also.

Mass Effect 2's suicide mission music. I don't even have to be playing the mission, I just have to hear the theme.

The scene in Bastion where -

spoilers -

you choose to save Zulf and carry him home through enemy territory. You have no weapons, no health potions left. One of the enemies starts to shoot you, only for them to be cut down, and the rest let you pass. Not to mention the song playing in the background. My heart.

Also, seeing and hearing One Day More from Les Miserables at a live production. I got chills.

The projection booth scene in Inglourious Basterds. It gave me chills, choked me up, and launched my ship.

I appreciated the cut to Donny and Omar afterwards, as I needed the distraction.

Off the top of my head, I can think of two:

Vagrant Story, the first time I entered the room with the harpy boss fight, and the cut scene started. AJDGJAGFDHJFGHDSFGHFSJ. I asked around back in the day - pretty much everyone who played the game had the crap scared out of them there.

Get Backers, in the middle of the IL arc where Ban had just barely brought Ginji back from the brink of becoming Raitei, and they parted ways again, only for Ban to immediately slump against a wall because actually he was injured really badly and didn't want Ginji to know... and then you realize Fudou is on his way. Fudou is seriously the only anime character who honestly terrifies me.

(I know no one here knows either of these 10-year-plus-old fandoms, and it is sad. :()

Is 'everything' an option? Because, seriously. Everything. I'm apparently ridiculously easily emotionally manipulated by media - I also cry at the drop of a hat.

The ending of The Man Who Lost The Sea, by Theodore Sturgeon

also the entire launch and spaceflight sequence from Royal Space Force Wings of Honneamise. This, basically, although the quality of this is awful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyIU_qExIbc
