The scene in Bastion where -

spoilers -

you choose to save Zulf and carry him home through enemy territory. You have no weapons, no health potions left. One of the enemies starts to shoot you, only for them to be cut down, and the rest let you pass. Not to mention the song playing in the background. My heart.

Also, seeing and hearing One Day More from Les Miserables at a live production. I got chills.

Yes. The first time I played Bastion, there was a moment where I was pretty sure I was actually going to die while carrying Zulf. I think it's probably not possible as long as you heal (I've never heard of it happening, anyway) but the way it emphasizes how much riskier taking the more merciful option is is pretty great.

Also the ending song, especially combined with Evacuation.
