Yeah, exactly. Regardless of what you think about the ethics of abortion, it's not going to be "major character death", either way.

Though I'm now kind of curious about what fandom is producing significant numbers of abortion fics. It's not a trope I've ever come across, and while I'm not surprised it's a topic some people choose to handle, I wasn't aware it was a widespread thing.
