The slash appeared immediately, and it was pretty blatantly teased in the show and the advertising. The Atlantis Facebook page is even calling Jason/Pythagoras "the new Merthur."

It's pretty nasty to be honest - clearly the PTB have twigged onto the idea that girls like that funny gay stuff so they're packing in as much as they can without the slightest intention of actually making any of it canon.

The saddest thing is, fandom is eating it up. I saw one person state that maybe the male/male pairing will totally become canon this time because it's set in Ancient Greece.
