Just keep your eye on the prize and remind yourself that once you move out, you don't have to deal with your roommate anymore! If you go to a showing and honestly think you might vomit, just tell the truth and explain that you are ill but you've been to the doctor and it's going to be okay. Dressing neatly will probably help if you are worried about giving a good impression.
