Um, I know there's quite a few people who speak Spanish on tumblr. Mostly because every-so-often one of them randomly reblogs something from me so I go to check their tumblr and realize I have no idea what they're saying. So you might be able to find a small community there.

And if I may say, you sound like you have a good enough grasp of the English language to write fic in it.

But I'm sorry that you can't find anyone to talk to in your first language. That really sucks. I hope you find more people soon.

There are, and I know some! On Tumblr. And you know, maybe it's because I'm too fucking old already, but I don't like the format of making conversation on Tumblr, if that's even possible at all. And even them, well, they prefer to post in English anyway because that earns them more followers.

Thank you so much, sweetheart <3 I have, indeed, written fanfiction in English before, and got good feedback and nice concrit (with the corresponding share of the applause going to the amazing Beta I had those years ago :3); but the thing is... I don't enjoy it as much. Half of the time the fic looks like a Spanglish mess before I clean it up, and my turns of phrase and sentences look weird if I write in Spanish first and then translate.

Thank you for your good wishes <3 As I said, this is a great comm and I love all the people here, including you. A pity the attempt at a Spanish-language F!S became so full of drama and backstabbing (and overriden with the people from my former RP) it died quickly.

Nono, tumblr is not a great place to chat. I mean, I do it anyway because I am a chatty little fuck but it's not really made for discussions like dreamwidth is. And I'm sorry to hear that about the people you follow. I understand why they do it but it sucks for you.

Ah, I'm sorry then. I wish there was a simple and easy solution for you.

Oh, I know you do. I like talking with you too but I understand the yearning for something in the language you are most familiar with. I did not know that about the Spanish F!S. That's unfortunate. I'm sorry.

How does one even chat in Tumblr :( Maybe I just don't get how to use it correctly... And I'm to used to LJ and analogue platforms, for example I can't RP in forums either and ALL THE DAMN RP IS DONE EITHER IN FORUMS OR IN TUMBLR aaaaargh DX Continuity, how do you do it.

It's ok. I can bet good money I'll end up caving in and at least translating some of my works. I feel too lonely :(

A pity, but it wasn't fated to last either way. Spanish fen was just too small to anything be "a secret", just imagine, the post went up on Saturdays and still there was like, ten-fifteen secrets? At most.

Mm, you can do it though asks, reblogging back and forth, or the little talk bubble at the end of some posts. I do all three because, again, I'm really chatty. Even a bad system won't slow me down.

Ah, I'm sorry. Maybe you could find websites dedicated to your fandoms in Spanish? Google and all that.
