For the record, 24, I don't like anime/manga much either, despite trying many series. The only ones I've actually liked are Trigun, Bleach and Cowboy Bebop. :O So don't feel bad! I also like Bobobo so ha ha, maybe you shouldn't take anything I say seriously.

1 - The Arrancar are boring as hell. But then, Bleach has fallen into the shounen manga trap where they have to keep finding more and more impossibly strong folks for the impossibly strong protagonists to beat up on, so.

5 - Ew, pairingsmush names.

29 - ...that whole screenplay thing is pretty damn cool, but your professor is an ass.

31 - Uh... people icon what they like, just like people fic what they write. If you're her friend and you want to try to get her to icon different stuff, get her into it. If you're not her friend and you're just watching her icon journal, deal with it. Because then trying to get her into different stuff would be just creepy.
Also, the "popular" thing confused me. Compared to a lot of stuff (I'm looking at you, Shadow Hearts), it's REALLY popular. Maybe not as popular as Bleach or Naruto or a lot of the later FFs, but still.

35 - Ahaha, we watched that in my Global Animated Film class this semester and I SO wanted to write a paper on the issues of the love-thing there -- same-gender, cross-species, cross-dressing, all sorts of juicy stuff. Except none of the prompts the prof's given us have allowed for it. :(

17. That's how I used to be, too. But then I tried my hand at writing in a series with a big following, and I actually got wonderful feedback. So, my advice to you, is to just give it a try! It's not as scary as it seems :)

29. First off, I hate that people out there feel that movies must have a romantic sideplot. Especially when said people are teachers, argh. That said, I would absolutely love to read that script of yours -- with or without the love story.

23) Anyone who claims to use literary criticism to show that something is "objectively bad" doesn't have any clue what "literary criticism is. It doesn't work like that.

Now, if they want to say they dislike something because their reading of part A doesn't jive with their reading of part B, that would be a lit-crit based explanation of their dislike. It's still got nothing to do with "objectively bad."

While the rest of the Epsadas aren't really all that interesting for me. (I have found a strange turn on by the Orhime/Ulquiorra pairing and a possible love-hate Nell/Nnoitra sexy-pairing) SZAYELAPORRO IS THE BEST CHARACTER FOR ME IN BLEACH SINCE ISHIDA SHOWED UP. He's so hot with his pink-hair and glasses and being a total ass-fuck to Ishida and Renji. Then creating those dolls....
