Watch it if you love or don't mind half-assed history, creepy/fun supernatural stuff, wackadoodle interpretations of the Book of Revelation, sexy policewomen who have a pretty solid backstory after only three episodes, non-stop time traveling fish out of water gags ("but women wear TROUSERS now?"). Don't watch it if too many of those things annoyed you just reading it.

It's a really, really fun show. It's also a bit goofy and sort of an odd mashup of really typical tropes, but with characters I already adore.

Sounds like it might be my kind of thing, thank you!

You probably will. I think the best part is a)the 'fish out of water' stuff isn't over done or constant, and the female lead (Abbie) is competent, smart, and believably conflicted. Plus, omg, they're both hot as hell.

"How many [Starbucks] are there?"

"Per block?"

"...is there a law?"

It's the delivery, too. I really love the acting in this show.

Yes! He's so low-key, even in the face of all the crazy stuff. Though, him waking up in a hotel-room covered in post-its was brilliant.
