never ever. how does it work? am I just bizarre?
like flippin' Eliot. I freaking love Eliot Spencer, he's a great character and has great relationships with everyone and he's well-acted and shit, but the huge disproportionate representation of him in Leverage fic has started to make me hate him in pure resentment.

also, why isn't there more genderswap in fandom? like, these two characters' relationship works for me but slash doesn't turn me on, I can't be the only one, why is there not more genderswap PWP?

If it helps, you're not the only one who feels that way about Eliot. I love everyone on Leverage, but I really don't get what makes him so excessively popular compared to the others. Is it the hair?

Eliot's that huge in fandom? Huh. Then again, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, I mean, he's the only young hot white guy on the show, after all.

I remember I sorted the fics on FF net by number of faves, and like the first two pages were 95% Eliot-centered fic.

To be fair, I don't think it's so much the 'young hot white guy' thing as it is that a good portion of the fandom were already CK fans who followed him onto the show. Also fandom loves a good h/c target and Eliot does get beat up all the time.
