I don't believe there's anything to their relationship. Wow that was easy.
Of course, being delusional has it's advantages. I couldn't give two shits about Castiel and I happily,steadfastly refuse to see the subtext that is 'Destiel'. I sit in front of my big ass TV and just don't see it. ( I refused to See Tiva too, but that's a bitter tale of another fandom). I'm a hardcore slasher of longstanding, I scour entertainment media for pretty men to squish together and do my homoerotic bidding, they are mere puppets for my straight womanly whims. Deluuussionnallllll. Smother me in mayonnaise and crown me the King of France. Subtext shoehorned in to the sate the ravenous fangirls doesn't make it subtext. Phhbbbb! Blows raspberry.

Tl:dr If by some unholy accident of television it become canon it's off to the guillotine for them all!
