If you have space to put a volunteer/work experience/intern section I'd put them there, but just remember:

1. Keep your resume to one page only. Every interviewer I've had has said that if it's too long they're not even going to bother to read it.

2. Pertinent info only.

3. References upon request. Don't waste space with every person's info you've ever asked to be a reference.
