Agreed.

I write a lot of WTNV fanfic, and every fic I write has a different Cecil. I see him differently all the time. Or sometimes it's more convenient to make him something else for the plot. Or it opens him up to a more interesting backstory. Or I just want to throw some tentacle smut in for the hell of it.

Bottom line, Cecil is whatever the fuck you want him to be, or not (or her!), and everyone bitching about it really just needs to get over it. I am so tired of that aspect of fandom, I just want to squee over an adorable couple and wonder what the man in the tan jacket's true intentions are with people. (and luckily the group of WTNV fans I hang out with are like that. Find your niche, stay out of the tags, and have fun)
