The activists are not going to care. It's not like they have cared about the numerous studies that prove that everyone will lose weight if they cut down on the food and calories they eat. The activists are special exceptions to the rule and none of this concerns them.

Studies do not prove that "everyone" will lose weight if they cut down on food and calories. (Does anyone eat calories outside food? Are we counting beverages separately? Anyway.) Some people do have medical conditions that keep them from losing weight. It's not as common as some people may claim, but it does exist. (Say they have a huge abdominal tumor. Say they're pregnant.) It's is not "everyone".
