I can't navigate in my own hometown. I just suck at directions and remembering street names. I don't even know some of the street names around my house - I just do everything with landmarks.

and my city is pretty tiny.

Before my frehsman year of college, I visited my future roommate (already a friend) a few times to hash things out and coordinate purchases. She lived about five miles away from me. I got lost a different way every time I tried to go to her house.

Me neither. But ironically, even if there are plenty of other people around and I'm wearing headphones, people keep asking me for directions. OTL
