Usually it's because I'm commenting on something controversial and I'm afraid of owning up to my own opinion. Also I am afraid of internet arguments and insults -- they honestly hurt me but it's a lot easier to walk away or brush it off if I'm anon.

Really I should just stay off forums like this. Or possibly the entire internet. But I do what I do.
