Re: Speaking of phobias

I'm not sure I'd call it a "phobia", but I've had a fear of wasps & bees since childhood. When I was seven or eight, I was playing in the garden, and I felt something land on my head. I put my hand up to touch it, and got stung.

Since then I go out of my way to avoid bees, wasps, hornets, anything that can fly and sting. But it doesn't stop me from going outside or doing most everyday things, and it's not like I have a panic attack if I encounter one.

So I wouldn't really consider it a phobia, more a strong fear.
