Re: Speaking of phobias

Not diagnosed, but experience suggests I have daemonophobia--the fear of demons and/or demonic possession. Not Hollywood or comic book demons like in Supernatural or Buffy, though; they don't bother me, oddly enough.

But movies or shows where the subject is portrayed with any authenticity in the classic Roman Catholic "this person hasn't just been temporarily hijacked by a more or less humanlike intelligence; something is horribly, unnaturally WRONG with them" sense have been known to trigger delayed panic attacks that have kept me up all night in well-lighted rooms.
