They're very different shows, so I'm not sure why people keep pitting them against each other.

I think it's because they were THE genre shows this season. SHIELD was the one everyone was looking forward to. While Sleepy Hollow was the one everyone was looking forward to making fun of.

I feel like it's hitting a wider demographic too. Everyone in my family watches it, and we have a 19-80 age range.
